SUPERANNUATION

Administration and strategy. The two core components of healthy superannuation management.

At Kennedy Barnden we specialise in both.

Our focus is on empowering trustees with knowledge. We take the time to explain how your superfund works.

Our flexible approach allows you to make informed decisions about which SMSF services you would like us to provide.

We’re accessible. All SMSF administration services at Kennedy Barnden are performed in-house. Which means the information you need is always available to you, when you need it.

Our in-house team of chartered accountants and financial planners will prepare all the necessary documentation required, including:

  • Statement of advice
  • Trust deeds
  • Minutes and resolutions
  • Member applications
  • Trustee consents
  • Investment strategy and business registrations (ABN, TFN, Complying Fund Registration, GST and PAYG Registration is applicable)

The cost of a setup includes time with our financial planning and superannuation specialists. It is important to us that you fully understand all the benefits and responsibilities of being an SMSF trustee.

Seamless.

All self-managed super funds require an annual audit. Audits must be conducted by Registered SMSF Auditors accredited through the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.

We perform a number of SMSF audits for other accountants or trustees who prepare their own financial statements.  One of our main goals, with everything we do, is making the client feel comfortable. When it comes to audit services, you can also proceed with confidence knowing that our accredited SMSF specialist auditors:

  • Are recognised by peers as having comprehensive specialist SMSF skills and knowledge
  • Have made a professional commitment to maintaining currency and compliance with legislation;
  • Are able to show professionalism in conducting services in the SMSF industry

Our team of SMSF Specialist Auditors are here to discuss your compliance concerns year round, and can assist you to rectify potential issues prior to the audit.

We’re passionate about what we do. Enthusiastic about our industry. And committed to delivering the best client experience possible. That’s why at Kennedy Barnden, we’re always on hand to answer your queries or provide you with strategic advice when your need it most.
